Q: What is VGMapper? A: VGMapper is a site dedicated to helping those who need video game maps and other media. Anyone can request custom made maps, galleries, and other media for free through our request system. Requests along with other maps are posted on the site for all to see. Q: How does the request system work? A: Just jump to the make a request page and follow the instructions. If there's something you need don't hesitate to ask. All requests are free except for commissions, but they don't exist yet so don't worry about it. Q: What are all these categories? A: I just moved and tweaked my old organization system to the site to keep track. **Mazes: Lost? The most detailed maps, mazes, can cover anything about the area in question from how to get to the exit to enemy stats and events. **World Maps: Maps that cover more then a single area such as over or under worlds, full diagrams detailing the entire game, or any map displaying all areas of a certain type. **Raw Maps: How the map looks in the game, minus most moving or changeable parts, viewed from a distance that allows you to see everything at once. **Charts: Specific parts of the game illustrated and explained in great detail such as enemy guides or passwords. **Puzzles: Step by step solutions for any brain teaser like challenge or other particularly tricky areas of the game. **Galleries: Sprites, backgrounds, screenshots or other in game graphics ripped and set into one place for convenient viewing. **Artwork: The mappers own modifications of the original game media. **Music: An auditory version of the raw map. The original game music, ripped just as it was in the game, presented in a variety of formats. Got any other questions? Email me at vgmapper@vgmapper.com and I might just post them here.
